So the other day we were just sitting around the house when I heard the icecream truck. The ice cream truck!!! I thought it would be so fun to take Jude and let him get his first icream truck icecream. I peeked out the window and there were 3 girls in line so I figured I had time.I started singing about icecream to get Jude excited and scrambled to get us out the door. I crammed some shoes onJude(didn't even put on socks), grabbed a fiver, and then headed out the door and...the truck is gone! I spent less then 30 seconds but I wasn't quick enough. I'm standing there dumbfounded and Jude is dancing for icecream. What am I going to do? I put Jude in the car and we drove down the street to the gas station and I let him pick his own icecream from the frezzer and of course he picks the monster of the bunch and gets something called a fat boy. At first he just held it. He cherised it and didn't want to eat it. Then with wild abandon he started making the biggest mess but enjoying every bite. Well every bit that didn't end up all over his face and shirt. Funny guy.

I have been so excited about this phase and now it's here. I love love love when you see a kid in the store with rainboots, a tutu, and a spiderman shirt. They are just figuring out independence and it feel important to them to pick their own clothes. Well Jude didn't go as crazy as my example but he did get very adventurous with his patterns when picking out his outfit. Camo pants, stripe shirt, diffrent striped jacket, my hat, and glasses. He is looking slammin'!

We even left the house, rocking Jude's outfit loud and proud. Although the glasses must have made it a little to dark. By the time we got to the park he was gone. Fell asleep right on the stroller, all the people at the park thought it was so funny and so cute. And it was.

Alice is such a wiggle worm. I will wrap her up in her blankie and by the morning she wiggle worms her way down so it is wrapped around her face. There are sometimes where she completly buries herself so her face can't be seen. Well today she was wiggling a working as usual and I went to go fix her and she reminded me of a flower. She was a cute little Iris the way the blanket came to a point at the top and then fanned out at the sides. Well anyway you look at it my daughter has to be one of the cutest smiliest girl on this earth.

So this wasn't planned but it is super cute and serendipitous. Forever ago my wonderful mommy in law(love you Jan) got Jude a froggie towel, it looks so cute on him. And the other day my mommy (love you Mami) brought Alice a princess towel. Do you get it....? It's the princess and the frog! They also have shark and butterfly towels but I don't think they have that movie yet. Someone start working on that.
Let me start off this post with a disclaimer. I'm going to be the first to say it incase anyone else is thinking it.Say it loud and say it proud! I am a bit of a creeper, I just find people to be so interesting that I can't resist chasing them down and snapping a picture from time to time. This case was especially true. I was in target with Angie, Jan, Derek, and all our kiddos when I see these people checking out with 2 overflowing carts full of soda. 5 high and 5 deep in each cart and some on the bottom. It was so crazy that I chased them down to take a picture. I was very sneaky acting like I was just checking my camera. I turned off the flash and just snapped it as I walked by. i thought it was so strange and I had to share it with others. So there is my dirty little secret. Wierd people+ can't resist Cristina+camera= creeper
