We had a very off schedule day where Jude didn't get a chance to take a nap. Usually if it gets to be around 3 o'clock or later he is so far gone anf tired that he won't take a nap and that it what happened. I tried to put him down at my moms house at around 2 and he worked himself into such a paniced protest that my mom and I had to sit with him for almost 30 minutes to calm him down. Later on in the day I was over at Brian and Angies and Jude decided he wanted to swing. He was in there for about 10 minutes and when I looked over this cute thing is what I saw.

So yesterday all of the kids and Duckets were running around a grassy area and having a great time. Whenever Duckets starts running the kids just start going crazy and they stop paying attention to what they are doing and where they are going. We still had the leash on Duckets and here comes Jude and he just clothes lines himself right on it. At first it didn't look bad at all, just a bit of a rashy area. When we woke up the next day we see this huge scab all over his neck like he was strangled. The pictures don't do it justice because it really looks bad. So when social services comes knocking on my door I need people to vouch for me. This kid just can't keep himself out of physical trouble!

I was on my way home from my moms house and I looked in my rear view mirror to see the cutest sight I ever saw. Jude had gotten ahold of his cool dude shades and was just sitting there with them. It just cracked me up so much and I wanted everyone to see it like I was seeing it so that is the reason for the picture through the mirror. Then I took every red light opportunity to flip around and take some pictures of my cool baby!

Jude is at the stage where he is getting interested in coloring. I gave him his own little book and a pencil (I'm not brave enough to give him pen or markers just yet) and he will sit there and scribble away. If I am making a shopping list or a to do list he also has to have some paper to write on to. This particular day was especially cute because it looked like he was doing homework or something. He was being very serious and intense about his scribbles. He didn't even really look up for the camera which is huge for my little ham it up cheese man.

What is going on here?!?!?! Just another wierd randomness I happened upon in St.george, Utah.

Good idea, Bad idea?

So I was struck by and idea. Be it genius or madness I don't know but Jude had a great time. It was almost dinner time but it was still about 20 minutes away so I sat Jude up in his high chair with a poptart to tide him over. The pop tart had sprinkles all over it and Jude was having a great time drawing pictures on his tray with the fall off. It reminded me of an activity that my mom used to do with me. She would spray shaving cream all over a table and let us just make a mess. I wasn't as brave to let Jude do it on a table but I set him up on his high chair and he had a great time. But messy it was, so much to the point that I just hefted the entire highchair into the shower. Jude also thought that this was just the funniest thing. It was very messy and crazy but once it was all over and done with everyone had a lot of fun.

But where are the children?!?!?!?!

Here is Angie and I having a great kid free time. My ward was having this craft night and we just got to make the most wonderful things! Both of our creative minds were overdosing on cuteness and we just couldn't get enough of all the cute things they had for us to do. There were cupcake advent calendars, photo frames, hair clips, all sorts of goodies. I'm way sad because I've got so much I want to do but at the end of this month when baby girl is here I am going to be lucky if I can find time to shower. Sigh... but we did manage to make some lovely menu boards and we got the jist of all the other projects so we can do them on our own later.

Here are some of the crafts that we didn't get a chance to make but we got the idea and the jist of how to do it later.

Not suprisingly Jude just loves my tummy. It's big, round, and squishy, 3 things that make for a great kids toy. We have been telling him that there is a little sister in there and if we ask him where the baby is he will come and lift my shirt and start poking my belly. I'm 36 weeks in this picture so only 4 more weeks to go. Can't believe time has gone so fast.

Angie, Derek and I decided we needed to pick up some supplies so we headed on over to the store. We strapped all the kids into this monstrosity of a cart and off we went. There was a little lay over at the bathrooms and we decided to entertain the kids by letting them try on glasses. They were all so funny and such "cool dudes." They were enjoying their glasses so much that when it came time to give them up we had a bit of a fight on our hands.

Here is my Jude man trying on a bike helmet. For some reason this was also "super cool" because it was another fight when it came time to put it back. But he will get a helmet of his own soon enough. My next big purchase is going to be a bike and one of those little mesh carriages. I had so much fun in them as a kid and as soon as baby girl gets strong enough to hold herself up I'm getting one and off we go. Ivins is covered in bike trails and it's a shame we aren't enjoying them.

Jude is so cute! So today I started cleaning the house, deep cleaning. I cleaned out the laundry room, sorted through clothes, vacuumed window screens, toothbrushed floor boards, wiped down doorknobs and light switches, everything. Well I was cleaning the doors and door knobs and Jude came over and started helping me. It was so cute and I was just beside myself that he wanted to do what his mom was doing, even if it wasn't very much fun. I love my little man!

It's been to long since I have posted a funny faced messy eater baby pictures. It was cottage cheese and oranges and he just made sure to get it everywhere his arms would reach.

On Sunday mornings i will go to LDS.org and go to their video library and play diffrent shorts and talks that we can listen to while we get ready for church. Well this Sunday I saw a link saying that the church was looking for actors and extras to be in an upcoming church film about old testament stories. They were asking for people from seasoned performers down to people who had never acted a day in their lives so I thought what the hey, it might be fun and I sent in Headshots and profile shots for Derek and I. We will hear back from them in about a month and if they do want us filming will be up in salt Lake in Spring 2011. We might not be able to do it what with school and 2 kids but who knows how accomadating they will or wont be unless we apply. I'm hoping that since we are only applying to be extras, and since it's probably going to be a low budget film that we will only be up in Salt Lake for like a week. That wont be to hard to figure out, but whatever will be will be.

My baby boy is getting so sneaky and crafty. He has figured out how to climb on everything, open cabinets and pantries, but now nothing is safe. Because my Jude man has figured out how to open doors. I was on the computer and I hear the front door open and close really quickly. I turn around and Jude is standing there, I thought that perhaps I had imagined it. Later on in the day I was in the bathroom all bymyself and then i wasn't. Jude just opened the door and walked in. This is going to be fun, but thank goodness most of our doors have locks. Although I'm sure Jude will figure those out before to long too. Also this video has a one of Judes new cute words. He loves to copy us after prayer or scriptures and says "AMEN" but he drags it out and says it in a southern drawl. It's so funny and cute and he is so proud of himself when he says it. Cute man.
