Our family went on a spur of the moment hiking trip. We went over to the Dixie rock and had an amazing time. Jude was loveing being out and in the open. He was scaring us because he would just take off running wether it was flat ground or towards a cliff. He kept going up to the edge and saying "Jump." An adrenaline rush for sure. Then we went to show Jude the narrows. Thinking that we would just show him and we would get a "No phank you" or something along those lines. But he took off running, he squezzed himself thorugh without a care in the world. I was having a hard time keeping up with the little adventurer!

My mom very sweetly hosted a Easter party for us this Easter sunday. We had a really good time and everyone chipped in to the point that the kids were so loaded with stuff their baskets wouldn't hold anymore. They had to dump everything out and go back for more. Jude was so stinking funny this year. First off I'll say that in my attempt to be quasi-healthy I also set out little oranges for the kids to put in their buckets. Well that is all Jude would pick up. Orange after orange after orange. Any time I tried to put in an egg he would get upset with me. Soon his bucket was full and there were no more oranges, so what did he do? He dumped all the oranges out and tried collecting again. He is such a goof!

So it is finally wonderful enough to get the bikes going. Andrea and I took Jude in our trailer and had a great time going a mile or two down this trail. The whole time I was thinking. "Wow, this is easy, Jude isn't weighing me down at all." Then we got to the end of the trail and had to turn around. Ugh, I hadn't realized it but we were going downhill the WHOLE time. It was so slight that I didn't really even notice it, but let me tell you, I noticed it going back up hill. I need some sort of something cause that Bike ride kicked my butt. Andrea had to take over about a 1/4 of the way. She is in a cycling class so she has the advantage but maybe that is a clue that I need to take some sort of class to. Well when we got back, Jude did not want to get out. So we went around the complex. Our neighbor kids came out and gave me the most pitiful look, so I invited them for around the block rides. All the kids had so much fun, we have big old speed bumps and I would fly over them as fast as I could and the kids would bounce so high. They loved it! We went and went and went until it was dark. A good workout and so much fun.

Our boys are the goofiest. I am so glad Duckets is around so they can have a male role model to emulate. Crazy kids.

Adorable Adorbale! 100 times Adorable!

Lots of fun Horsey around where we live. They are very friendly and cute!

It was Derk's birthjday and we had a little get together. I always try to make Derek's birthday special and this year was no exception. The night before I had Angie come and help me wallpaper our living room with colorful papers. It was everywhere! And behind 3 there were clues for the where abouts of Derek's present. We had a lot of fun putting them up and celebrated with an epic jumping high five picture. Yeah, were that cool! It was even more fun watching Derek pull them each down and flip them for clues. He found them a lot faster then I thought so next year an even harder game. Then it was on to the cake. I made Derek a portal " the cake is a lie" cake. It's from a very comical video game that both Derek and I love. Angie helped me and thank goodness. Her cakes turned out perfect and both of mine came out crumbs. I smashed the crumbs inbetween her cakes so that I could get the right height, so we kept joking saying that the cake was really a lie. We were expecting it to disentegrate the second it got cut into but it did really well and tasted even better. Thanks for having another birthday Husband, I love you and you are the highlight of my every day. *heart*

Jude is getting ready to go on a car ride. He just needs to get a couple things first.

Happy 6 month birthday Princess princess!

The other day we were DYING to get out of the house so we went around the corner to the bowling alley. We thought that if we put the bumper lanes up that we could have a good time. We had to wait for 15 or so minutes while they set up the lane, so we went to the arcade and had a blast. Dancing, racing, and air hockey. It was so much fun, then they told us we could go bowling.
and we were "that " family. Jude did not like bowling. He was trying to play and throw EVERY ball and then chase it down the alley. Everytime you would cross the line a big anoying buzzer would sound. yeah, we tripped it no less then 30 times. The ball return was also a problem, Jude was trying to catch the 15 pound bowling balls and crunch his face and fingers. That was another problem, he was trying to reach in there and another buzzer would sound, that one we only tripped about 20 times. Jude would cry and fuss verytime we stopped him from chasing a ball. It wouldn't have been such a big deal excpet that it was league night. All the mega proffesionals bowlers were there with their gloves and ball shiners and thier mega serious attitudes. I felt like everyone was trying to shoot lasers at me with their eyes. Then Alice started crying and we threw up the white flag. When it was fun it was fun but for the most part I don't think we will do that again for awhile.
We had some little kids peeking through our window and Jude and Duckets just couldn't resist climbing onthe table to peek back. They should have been scolded but I had to take pictures first. Little stinkers.

Alice is so cute! She is big enough to grab her own binkie! Wahoo!

YEAH!!!! We pulled out the jumperoo and it is everyone's favorite toy. Alice loves it, although she hasn't figured out that it is for jumping. Even the big kids like it. Jude has figured out how to get in and out by himself, and when the cousins come over everyone is trying to get their turn. Yeah for jumperoo!

We didn't encourage this, at least not at first. Angie brought her boys over and we were all out in the yard and Angie looks up and Jude is running arounf outside the gate. We both looked at eachother confused because we thought there was no way to get through. When Derek got home we video taped it and then promptly went out to buy something to cover the gate. All better now.

Oh those toddlers. It was a chillier day and When I asked Jude what coat he wanted he picked his tiger costume. Fine with me, it's warm and ADORABLE! Then he had to do some kitchen rearranging. Then he had to wriggle into a bench and try to steal Duckets food. And then he had to be adorable again. Goofy guy!
My Dad came down this last weekend and we had so much fun. He also came baring gifts for the kiddos which Jude took no time tearing into. But the goofus got off the ribbon and ran off to play with that. We kept teasing my Dad saying "well thanks for the ribbon, go ahead and return whatever was in the box." But that is so the way kids are. It's those crazy imaginations. We finally got his attention back to the present and it was an adorable pilot flight suit .It was really long which is perfect since this boy is growing so fast.Alice got some wonderful presents as well. She got showered with clothes, books, and an adorable play mat/book that she just loves.
We had so much fun with my Dad. We went and visited friends, shot guns, and just had a good time. It was wonderful because Jude took no time warming up to my Dad so they got time to wrestle, play, read stories, and just do some good old fashioned bonding.

Jude just loves to take pictures and his favorite form is the self portrait. My camera is just full of Jude face and teeth and smile. Here is a Jude-O-Collage-O.

My Lita came to visit and it was way overdue. Jude hadn't seen her since he was 5 months old and Alice had never seen her. They both warmed up to her super fast and we had a great time.

4 generations of Family is such a sight to see!
