Ok so fourth of July this year was one of the best I have ever had. The day started out with a beautiful hike around the Red rock. We climbed and jumped and had a great time.

Then a streak of silliness struck us and us adults decided to do our "senior shots" We are just all so hip and cool!
Then we did a firework preview and did smoke bombs. These were some of my favorite because you could do them during the day. The kids would ooh and ahh about the colors and it was really fun to see huge plumes of smoke rise into the air. Derek even stood inthe middle of a bomb to do a ninja vanish!
Then the sun went down and we walked out to Dixie high parkinglot and got such a treat! A family about 20 feet from us had gone all out! They got the hge fireworks that go up high in the ground. We had huge fireworks going right off above our head. It was so beautiful!
We of course did our traditional firework dance and sparkler art. We had such a great fourth!!!
