and we were "that " family. Jude did not like bowling. He was trying to play and throw EVERY ball and then chase it down the alley. Everytime you would cross the line a big anoying buzzer would sound. yeah, we tripped it no less then 30 times. The ball return was also a problem, Jude was trying to catch the 15 pound bowling balls and crunch his face and fingers. That was another problem, he was trying to reach in there and another buzzer would sound, that one we only tripped about 20 times. Jude would cry and fuss verytime we stopped him from chasing a ball. It wouldn't have been such a big deal excpet that it was league night. All the mega proffesionals bowlers were there with their gloves and ball shiners and thier mega serious attitudes. I felt like everyone was trying to shoot lasers at me with their eyes. Then Alice started crying and we threw up the white flag. When it was fun it was fun but for the most part I don't think we will do that again for awhile.

The other day we were DYING to get out of the house so we went around the corner to the bowling alley. We thought that if we put the bumper lanes up that we could have a good time. We had to wait for 15 or so minutes while they set up the lane, so we went to the arcade and had a blast. Dancing, racing, and air hockey. It was so much fun, then they told us we could go bowling.

There's a buzzer when you cross the line? How annoying! That sounds like it was such a pain. Lesson learned - no bowling with toddlers.
