Right across the street from where we were getting our snow cones was a huge construction site. Jude wanted to go look at the trucks so off we went for a wander and we went at the best time! They were getting ready to lower a  12,000 gallon drum into the ground. The pulled out a big crane, and had it all hooked up with chains. It was a neat sight to see. Jude was pretty impressed and to be honest I was to.

SNOW CONES! Just what we need on Saint George Days in August. It was triple digits today and by the time you had been outside for 10 minutes you were already making promises never to go outside again. Happily the snowcones were a big help in beating the heat.

After the magic show our monkey boys found a window well on the side of the building and set up camp. They were in and out and hanging all about. It was so much fun for them that I was sad when we had to go. I am two steps away from running to Home Depot and building a PCP pipe jungle for them. Or I guess I could just come back here. 8)

Here is my moment in the spot light. He wrinkled my brain! Everytime I watch this movie he still wrinkles my brain. How did he do that!

Magicians! I love 'em! And this one was a free one sponsered by the library, even better. ANd he was a good one. I was lucky enough to get up there and be his " beautiful assisstant." Even though I was right there and have had a chance o view the video mulitple times I still can't figure out how he did the trick. I couldn't figure out how he did any of the tricks. I need to get this guys number and hve him come to mynext birthday party cuse he was wow! Sadly he wow was lost on wiggly toddlers. But I still got to see most of it. The kids wandered up a floor and I got to look down from the balcony. To finish of his show he took a leaf blower and a roll of toilet paper and made this awesome TP canon and shot it into the crowd. I didn't get to be a part of it but I did get some great pictures of it which is almost better (for me anyway) Video to follow.

July 23
Now I don't know who started this but on this night we have a switch-a-roo going on. Either Jude kicked Duckets out of his bed or Duckets kicked Jude out of his bed and I don't know how to blame cause I have seen both of them doing the kicking and the being kicked out. They did it in the night without either of them making a single complaint. The switch must have been nice for them because they slept like rocks. Jude is usually waking me up but this time I woke up before they did, and with enough time to grab the camera. YES!

(this was also on July 20th)
Holy Canoli it has been too long since I posted. These pictures were actually taken on July 20, but not until now have I taken the time to put them up. Well on this July 20th it is DATE NIGHT! It has been forever since we had some Dere and I time and Derek and I jam packed this evening. We went bowling, did pool, got cheeseburgers, icecream, and then wandered around an antique store. It was so much fun but by the time we finished I was so tired. It felt like we had crammed the last 3 months of date night into one 3 hour block. I guess when you are married with kids you get your couples time when you can, and then you make it count!
