Wow, It's been almost a month since I posted. To be perfectly honest I forgot I had a blog. Summer is over and life has gotten busy.
I often get asked if Alice's hair is natural. I nicely tell them "yup it is natural, you should see his brother. We are ust a curly headed family." But in my head I am sarcasticly thinking, "No it isn't natural, I put my wiggly not even 2 year ols=d daughter to skin searing curling iorns. She loves sitting still for 2 hours every morning while I curl her naturally straight hair." That just seems like a silly question to me but I get it at least once a week. Not to say that Alice's hair doesn't get any care. I have to comb it and when I say comb it I mean attack a giant birds nest on the back of her head. She tosses and turns constantly in her sleep. She must for her hair to get so tangled. I use a home made detangling spray( conditioner and water, nothing fancy) a brush, and slow strokes for about 15 minutes. I try to go really slow and hold her hair while I go or else it hurts too much and she starts to cry. Sometimes it get too bad though and crying is jst going to happen. Suprisingly after all is said and done she has beautiful shirley temple ringlets that stop grammies and grampies in their tracks.
