Having a lazy morning on the couch watching muppet show.

Suprise bubble bath. And I say it was a suprise because I wasn't planning on it. I am filling up the tub and I go to fetch Alice, when I come back there are all these bubbles. Jude's shampoo didn't get closed and spilt all over the bottom of the tub so that is where all the bubbles came from. Alice still hasn't figured out her opinion of baths and so this doesn't help but to complicate matters but I've made up my mind. Alice + bubbles= one cute baby girl!

Funny thing about siblings, they feel that everything has to be even and fair. One can't get any more then the other which leads me to my post. I was getting everyone ready to go on a big walk, and I hate it when people tell me my little baby son(Alice) is so handsome so I always try and put a bow on her to avoid confusion. Well to day Jude felt that it was really important that he have one to and I figured...why not. It's not a big deal, so Alice got her flower and Jude got his and off we went on our walk. We walked all around town and Jude actually looked really cute. There have been times when people have come to Jude and complimented me on my beautiful daughter and this wasn't really helping that. I was so tickled that I was making a big deal to get pictures but I must have made too big a deal cause towards the end Jude started hiding his face. Sorry kiddos you are just both so cute!

Alice is so pleasant and nice all the time that sometimes we have to pester her a bit, just for fun. She thinks she is a big girl and one of her favorite things to do is to practice her standing. She was doing her stuff and her little pester bug daddy started tickling her back and she started doing this funny head throw back squat. She supports her own weight when she stands and we just help her with the balance part. So when her daddy tickles her back she is the one who goes limp and arches her back, what a silly girl. She is going to get along in this family just fine. Also there is a cameo from Jude in here.

Alice is getting to be such a profesional baby! She can hold up her head for a good amount of time, she is starting to grab and reach for things, and she is able to sit up with some assistance. Of course she is still a super smiley girl, she was just so cute and I couldn't resist some pictures.

Ok, maybe the sitting thing needs some practice.

Here is a video of Alice practicing her sitting. I reached up to adjust her bib and it was enough to knock her over. Poor thing but she is so CUTE!!!

Daddies are so much fun! We were over at Grandma and Grandpa Kohler's house when Brian and Derek started a bean bag sack fight. They were each on a different side of the room and beans bags were flying everwhere. It was a war zone! The kids were so excited they didn't know what to do. Running, screaming, trying to get into throwing the bean bags. It was so much fun and the kids just went cucoo! Love them Daddies for tiring out the kiddos.

It has been so cold, and usually we go on big long walks to get out all the wiggles. We haven't been able to do that because of the chill so I have been having to get creative with my activities. I went online and found a website that had 101 things to do with your toddler, one of the ideas was this, make toilet paper roll forts. It seems silly and kind of tacky but we had so much fun! We made big walls and kicked them over and towers that we would run through. Jude had so much fun stacking the rolls up high, but he could only get about 3 high before the desire to kick them over became to much to resist. We also made a line to jump over and "balance beam" to walk on. It was a good way to run around and get some energy out on a could yucky day.
